Larry Bazar gave his life to Christ as a child, through the spiritual influence of his mother and grandfather.  Some years later at a summer camp meeting, Larry reconfirmed his childhood faith in Jesus and committed his life to serve the Lord however He would lead.

For college he enrolled in a work study program at Drexel University and, after six years of study, earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees in finance. He married Martha while he was in graduate school, and six months later he began three years of service in the U.S. Army. Over the next twenty years, Larry's walk with the Lord grew. During those years, Larry worked in many areas of finance for various large and small corporations.

The Lord finally brought Larry to AMF in 1983, when he began his service on the AMF Board of Managers. Five years later, the Lord called him to move out of corporate America and become part of AMF's Home Office staff as the director of financial resources, where he faithfully served for twenty-one years.

Larry retired from AMF on March 31, 2009. He plans to volunteer in several roles with his community and church, beginning in April with a trip to the Dominican Republic as part of a church mission team.

Larry and Martha live in West Chester. They have two married daughters and five grandchildren.
